K-9 Ushers Man to Come Out of the Closet
A forty year old man in Evansville, Indiana was hiding in a bedroom closet when police came to arrest him on a felony warrant. A woman answered the door and repeatedly told police that James Drake was not there.
One of the officers asked the woman where he would be if he were there. To which, the woman replied, “Probably in the bedroom.” After that response police searched the house with a K-9. The dog indicated that there was someone in a bedroom closet. Then man wouldn’t come out so officers let the K-9 apprehend him. After one bite, James Drake came out of the closet. He was treated at a local hospital for minor wounds before being escorted to jail.
Somehow I think it would have just been easier for this man to just be honest and turn himself in to authorities rather than hiding in a closet. Then he wouldn’t have had to come out of the closet. I do have to admit, though, he doesn’t look forty.
