Obama: He’s Causing Another Great Depression

Published by Becky at 6:11 pm under Obama:My Opinion Edit This

At times when I’m talking to an Obama supporter, I feel as though I am talking to a wall.  When I say that our tax dollars shouldn’t be poured into failing companies, they disagree.  A statement I heard today was, “What is he supposed to do? Let us go into another Great Depression?”

Well, here’s my thought’s on that.  And you’re probably not going to like them.

It’s not the government’s responsibility to step in when a company makes bad decisions and causes itself to go bankrupt.  All this “stimulus” money that’s going out here and there without any real results will have to be paid for somehow.  The only way the government gets money is through taxes.  So, guess what? This “stimulus” money is going to cause new taxes at some point.

Obama isn’t that great.  People think he is great because he is handing out money everywhere.  However, this money is tax payer money to begin with and he’s handing out trillions more than what the government is getting in taxes.  Basically, what Obama is doing is making the economy worse in the long run.  So if we slip into another Great Depression, it’s going to be Obama’s fault anyway.

Overall, what the last Great Depression did was brought families closer together and made our nation stronger.  If you lose your job because the company you work for goes under, you’ll have to find another one.  If you can’t find another job, it’s not the end of the world.  You’ll just have to figure out how to harvest wild berries and grow your own vegetables.  Wait! I already do that because I haven’t worked since February.  The quicker you get back to basics, the easier a depression will be for you.
