About the Writer
My name is Becky. I am from a rural area.
The place I spent most of my time as a kid has a population of 7 and I’m related to all of them except one. My great grandparents settled on Tumbleweed road during the Great Depression. I plan to move back there some day. However, the place that I currently call home is near Bristow, Indiana where my great grandma grew up.
My neighborhood is generally quiet. During deer season you’ll hear gunshots, but that’s normal. Around Halloween there are four-wheelers everywhere on a scavenger hunt. That’s normal too. We know our neighbors by their first name, and we know their family too. We work hard to keep the bills paid and keep food on the table. This is a place where neighbors help eachother out. Life is simple and the blogs I post probably reflect that.
You will notice some topics of national interest. I usually include my opinion, which is very straight forward and simple. Whether you agree or disagree please comment and keep reading. If you have an opinion that is totally different from one of mine, please leave a comment about it. I read my comments regularly and make my best effort to respond to them.
