Hyperactive Puppy

I’ve been trying since we got our new puppy, Diamond, to get a picture of her that she was looking at the camera.  She has the prettiest, bright blue eyes and she’s solid black.  I’ve never seen a black dog with blue eyes.  Apparently, the blue eyes and the thick fur are the husky in her.  The black of course come from her mom who is a black lab.

Other than her afternoon naps, Diamond is constantly running or chewing.  If you get the camera close enough to her to get a picture she wants to lick it.  So, it’s been difficult to get a decent picture of her.  But I think I finally got one.  It just doesn’t show the color of her eyes at all.

Raising and Smelling Puppies: Part 2

This is an update on my previous article “Raising and Smelling Puppies”

Alright, so the smell isn’t that bad.  Actually, the new puppy we just got doesn’t really smell up the house at all.  We gave her a bath then put the flea and tick stuff on her.  She doesn’t use the bathroom in the house.  As a matter of fact she’s only been here for a short time, and she slready goes to the door when she needs to go out.  She’s beautiful too.  She’s a lab and husky mix.  Her fur is soft and black and her eyes are bright blue.  When I can get her to sit still for a picture I’ll post one.  But you know how puppies are, full of energy.
